greenValue, the information and consulting company based in Schwaig near Nuremberg, has successfully brought its third biomethane feed-in project online. After reaching full load, the Erdeborn project has an hourly feed-in capacity of 550 Nm³ of biomethane. As part of the transferred project management, the project was supported from the groundbreaking ceremony to the first biomethane injection.
The project owner and client is the Nuremberg-based UDI Group, which specializes in green investments.
“With the third biomethane injection plant, we have successfully implemented the next project in the 15th year of our existence. The key competence lies in coordinating the parties involved and covers all facets of the biogas project business. As a result of the work, timely commissioning and cost compliance can be recorded,” explains Daniel Kellermann, Managing Director of greenValue GmbH.
At the Erdeborn site, predominantly renewable raw materials are fermented into biogas. The biogas is refined into biomethane using proven physical pressure washing and fed into the gas network as natural gas. According to Kellermann, the advantage is obvious: “Bio natural gas can be stored and converted into electricity and heat at the point of need or used as fuel.”
Once the remaining construction work has been completed, the project will be put into regular operation. “With competent construction partners, a close relationship with agricultural contractual partners, and professional technical and commercial management, the conditions for a successful operation have been created,” summarizes Daniel Kellermann.
