In January 2021, the Gordemitz biogas plant transferred biomethane to the biogas feed-in system of the local gas network operator for the first time. The amount of input material was gradually increased and continuous biogas production with biogas processing was achieved. At the same time, various final work was and is still being carried out, such as the completion of the outdoor facilities.

In less than a year, the project was implemented from the shell construction stage to completion. The interaction between the owner and operator, BALANCE Erneuerbaren Energie GmbH and the commissioned companies worked on time despite the given conditions.
