greenValue is about implementing sustainable projects in renewable energies. But the company is also ahead of its time internally. All internal processes have already been digitalized, and managing director Kellermann focuses on sustainability down to the last detail.
Our world is changing and the tasks are more urgent than ever: we must end dependence on fossil fuels, conserve resources and protect habitats. This is the only way to successfully lead a modern society onto a sustainable path and thus make it fit for the future. The federal government’s goals for a sustainable energy supply with reduced CO2 emissions are ambitious. For example, the share of renewable energies in electricity generation is expected to increase to 80 percent by 2030. And with the national hydrogen strategy, green hydrogen is being established as an alternative energy source – another essential pillar for a sustainable energy supply.
There is plenty of challenges for the economy. “We are proud to have been driving the energy transition through our project work for over two decades,” says Daniel Kellermann, founder and managing director of greenValue GmbH. “Sustainability not only plays a central role in selecting renewable energy projects. Due to the almost complete digitalization of our office, paper consumption was reduced by around 98 percent within four years.” The sustainability report, published in the second edition, is also exemplary and highlights the most essential aspects of greenValue’s measures in this area. A guide that could undoubtedly be transferred to other companies. “With our office moving to downtown Nuremberg, accessibility by public transport is optimal,” continued Kellermann. “The combination of mobile work and office work enables contemporary work. This suits our employees and is also interesting for career starters and experienced specialists. We offer those interested a varied job with constant growth, allowing employees to actively participate in shaping a sustainable energy future.”
As an information and consulting company, greenValue provides services from contract initiation and negotiations to the coordination of all processes in project implementation and acts as a link between investors and project planners. “We are currently overseeing three groundbreaking projects. As part of a real-world energy transition laboratory, we were able to advance a project for our partner in which green hydrogen is produced from wind power. To use the hydrogen industrially, a natural gas pipeline was repurposed for hydrogen transport. Another exciting project is participation in the development of a bio-natural gas liquefaction plant, which uses pressure differences in the gas network to produce electricity and utilizes the waste heat in the spirit of energy optimization. We are also involved in sub-projects in a project that produces biogas or biomethane through the fermentation of organic waste.”
To ensure high-quality services, greenValue has introduced a quality management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. Certification takes place annually, most recently in September 2022. This promotes professional and transparent collaboration. So it’s no surprise that greenValue has developed into a stable partner for utility companies and institutional investors alike in recent years. “We are convinced that renewable energies offer solid investment opportunities and make an important contribution to sustainable development,” concludes Kellermann.
